Sunday School

Christ Church offers a Sunday School for all children 3 - 12 years old during the 10:00 a.m. service. They are taught in small age groups of about 8-10 people and the David C. Cook curriculum is used. The children remain in the service at the beginning for the singing of contemporary hymns and songs then go downstairs to the hall for their classes.

The lessons are based on truths learned from Bible stories and how these can be applied in their lives. The focus is on contemporary issues and how to base their personal values on biblical truths. Emphasis is put on helping them to understand the importance of developing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

At the end of classes children and teens re-join their families in the service. Here they are welcomed to the altar to receive Holy Communion (or a prayer of blessing if they are not yet ready to receive Communion).
