Concerts and Rehearsals

There are three performance venues in the building: the parish hall, the center nave, and the organ gallery. The church is equipped with a state of the art sound system and recording console.

The Parish Hall contains a curtained stage with two side exits. There is adequate space for rehearsals or performances to take place on the main floor of the hall, which can accommodate an audience size of up to approximately 100 people. The parish hall's acoustics are ideal for informal, intimate performances and it is particularly suitable for music and dance rehearsals.

The Center Nave has adequate space for up to 50 standing or 20 seated performers in the front of the church. Performers must supply their own risers, and lighting. A Steinway grand piano and an Allen MDS-15 digital organ (installed in 1991) are available in the choir stall area. Audience seating in the church can accommodate up to 250 people.

Meetings and Organizations

Rental of Christ Church facilities are subject to the approval of its Corporation and should be primarily for socially useful purposes.

The Parish Hall is available for small or medium sized groups on a regular or single-use basis. The adjacent Guild Room can accommodate small groups while the hall itself can accommodate up to 100 people. The stage may be used for speakers or a head table. Removable chairs and tables are available.

The church itself seats 250 people and is equipped with a state of the art sound and projection system for audio visual presentations and films.

Light food service may be provided by the church's ACW group, under certain special circumstances.
