About us

A Company of Friends is a non-profit community theatre group that presents an annual dinner/dessert theatre in a cosy, relaxed atmosphere at St Barnabas Church in Pierrefonds. It was originally concieved in 1994 to assist in paying the church's mortgage, a goal that was achieved in 2000. The current fund-raising focus is a major renovation project involving every aspect of the church building.

St Barnabas is an active and vibrant church providing social and community outreach as well as opportunities for worship and spiritual growth and development. Part of the Anglican Church of Canada, in the Diocese of Montreal, St Barnabas attracts members from the four corners of the earth. The people involved in A Company of Friends include members of St Barnabas as well as volunteers from elsewhere in the West Island and beyond.

Previous shows include South Pacific, Babes in Arms, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Me and My Girl, Guys and Dolls, and The Pajama Game.
