"Communicating important news to help our family in Christ grow together"

Please call the church office (514-457-6934) for further information concerning any of these notices.

Are you new to our parish family or have you been with us for some time and never registered? Well…we love including you! If you have not done so already, please call, email, or write us, and be part of our growing parish family. Let us know as well if you would like offering envelopes.

Deadline for submissions: 4 PM Wednesday prior to Sunday publication.

The In Touch tends to get overcrowded! In order to ensure space for new information, notices will be included for two weeks running unless a special request is made. In any case, notices will be run for a maximum of four weeks running. They may be repeated after a break and depending on space, under the same conditions and if so requested.

The Spring Fair is swiftly approaching! Book your agendas and mark your calendars: Saturday May 24 from 9am to 2pm. Yard Sale (Joanne Jackson), Baking Table (Donna Howarth and June Woodward), Book Nook (Jim Downey), Children's Corner (Casey Stilwell and Jen Otto), Plants - annuals and perennials (Ann Cumyn); and the BBQ (Richard Howarth) will be cookin' for when you get tired and hungry!

May is here and it's time for gardening. Please help St.George's by buying at Les Serres de Chez Nous (formerly Lauzons), on Gouin Blvd near Cap St Jacques, who will once again give us a percentage of the amount spent by our members. When you go there mention that you are from St. George's and they will make a note of the amount spent. They carry garden supplies, topsoil, peat moss, fertilizer etc as well as plants and vegetable seeds. To help those who find it hard to collect flats we will be taking orders for plants and will collect them for pickup at the church on Friday, May 23. These flats which cost $3.25 each plus tax will be sold for $4.20, the difference going to our mission commitment. Plants will also be available for sale at the Spring fair. A list of plants for sale will be available soon and orders will be taken at that point. For more info please contact Ann Cumyn, 514-457-5280.

Perennials for the Spring Fair: This is the time of year for dividing many of the perennials. As you work in the garden on these glorious spring days, please put aside (and keep watered) any spare perennial plants for us to sell at the Spring Fair. Please label them and bring them to the church on Friday, May 23. If nobody is around they may be put in the shade by the bench in the quiet garden. If you don't know the names, bring the plants anyway; we have an expert on the team. Perennials always sell well and many of us are looking for plants to add to our collections.
