YAPs- YOUTH ACTION PROGRAM
These are the Youth Contacts of each individual parish. Each parish is to
have two contacts. The responsibility of the contact is to be a communication
link between the Diocese and parishes
THE
CLEAR VOICE
This newsletter is used as a media resource in which to pass on information
from all corners of the Diocese. Youth parishioners, and clergy are encouraged
to send in their stories, comments and ideas to the Diocesan Office (c/o Editor
of the Clear Voice) This newsletter is not something to be sent from the Youth
Council but something everybody can participate in.
ACTIVITIES
COMMITTEE
This committee came out of a motion from Youth Synod ’95. The work of
this committee is to be responsible for planning two events a year, (ideally
one before and one after Youth Synod.) Members do not have to be elected to
this committee but need to have a keen interest in planning activities.
This resource would be used to
distribute:
a) youth links, to wider youth material;
b) knowledge of youth activities in the Diocese;
c) mandate of the Youth Council;
d) the Clear Voice;
e) profiles of Youth Council members
